  • general or approximate geographic information;
  • technical and security information;
  • cookie and similar technology identifiers, where applicable and permitted.

We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information through our general website forms. Please avoid including sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your interaction with us.

3.How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and requests;
  • communicate about potential projects, solutions and services;
  • manage business relationships and prospective customer relationships;
  • provide CIS Insights and other communications you have requested or agreed to receive;
  • manage event registrations and event-related communications;
  • evaluate professional profiles and potential employment or collaboration opportunities;
  • maintain and improve our website;
  • understand how visitors use the website;
  • measure the performance of our content and digital presence;
  • maintain website security and prevent misuse;
  • comply with legal and regulatory requirements;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

We process personal information only where we have an appropriate legal basis under applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include your consent, steps taken at your request, performance of contractual obligations, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests where permitted by applicable law and balanced against your rights.

4.CIS Insights and Marketing Communications

You may choose to subscribe to CIS Insights and other relevant CIS Group communications.

When you subscribe, we may collect your first name, email address, company (when provided), subscription preferences, the date and source of your subscription and information necessary to manage your subscription status.

Where required, we will request your consent before sending marketing communications.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in our marketing emails or by contacting privacy@cisgroup.tv.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or relationship communications, such as responses to a request you submitted.

For recipients in the United States, our commercial email practices are also designed to comply with applicable requirements of the CAN-SPAM Act, including appropriate sender identification, postal information and unsubscribe mechanisms.

CIS Group currently uses MailerLite to manage the CIS Insights subscriber list and deliver marketing emails. Your email address and relevant subscription information may be processed through MailerLite for this purpose, and MailerLite remains the system of record for newsletter subscription status.

CIS Group keeps a limited local operational log of website subscription attempts for up to 90 days.

5.Careers and Professional Information

The Careers area allows individuals to introduce themselves to CIS Group regardless of whether a particular position is currently available.

Information submitted through this area may be used to evaluate your profile for current or future professional opportunities and to contact you in connection with those opportunities.

Please provide only information relevant to your professional profile.

Application and profile metadata submitted through Careers is retained for up to 12 months. Uploaded résumé/CV files are retained in private storage for up to 90 days and are then automatically deleted; deletion of the CV file does not necessarily delete the remaining application metadata before its 12-month retention period expires.

You may request deletion of your professional information at any time, subject to applicable legal requirements.

6.Events

When you register for a CIS Group event, we may use the information you provide to:

  • process and manage your registration;
  • communicate logistical and operational information;
  • provide information related to the event;
  • follow up regarding your participation.

Registration for an event does not automatically subscribe you to CIS Insights or unrelated marketing communications.

Where appropriate, we will provide a separate option for you to consent to receiving future CIS Group content, invitations or marketing communications.

7.Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember privacy preferences, understand website usage and provide certain third-party functionality.

We classify these technologies into the following categories:

CIS Group uses Resend to deliver transactional website notifications generated from website forms, such as confirmations and internal notifications related to a submission.

Information necessary to send those notifications may be processed by Resend, including recipient and sender email information, message metadata and the contents necessary to deliver the relevant notification.

Resend is used for transactional website email only, not for CIS Insights marketing campaigns.

10.Cloudflare Turnstile

11.YouTube and Embedded Content

Some pages may include videos hosted by YouTube.

Where practicable, CIS Group uses YouTube's Privacy-Enhanced Mode for embedded videos.

Loading or interacting with embedded content may result in information being transmitted to the third-party provider. Where required, such content may remain disabled until the appropriate privacy preference has been selected.
