The project, which began in December 2024, aims to unify and modernize B3's internal content workflows through cloud-based media asset management and virtualized file storage. With the integration of Iconik, a Backlight solution, and LucidLink's cloud native storage, media assets are now efficiently organized, easily accessible, and enriched with metadata, enhancing searchability and enabling future content monetization.

The integration of LucidLink's Filespaces and the Iconik MAM platform revolutionizes the content creation workflow. LucidLink enables instant access to large media files without requiring full downloads, significantly accelerating high-resolution video editing processes. When media assets are added to the LucidLink Filespace, they are automatically indexed by Iconik, initiating various AI-driven metadata tagging processes, generating thumbnails, and creating editing proxies.

Through an integrated Premiere Pro panel, users can browse and search for media directly within Iconik, selecting proxies for efficient editing. Once the edit is finalized, the workflow seamlessly transitions back to high-resolution content for color grading and finishing, or into a review and approval process where teams can provide feedback directly within Iconik's web interface.
